Privacy

What we collect

• Your name, email address, delivery address, and phone number if you give one, so we can make and ship your order.
• What you ordered, including the text you entered and any artwork you uploaded, because that is what we stitch.
• Your email address and password if you open an account. Passwords are handled by our sign-in provider and never reach us in readable form.

What we do not do

We never see your card number: card details go straight to Stripe. We run no advertising or analytics cookies, we do not track you across other sites, and we do not sell or share your information for advertising.

We email you about orders you placed and about your account. There is no marketing list to join or leave.

Who else handles your information

Stripe

Takes your payment and calculates the sales tax for your delivery address.

Shippo

Checks your address, quotes carrier rates and buys the label. Your delivery address goes to the carrier you choose.

Resend

Sends the emails about your order.

Vercel and Supabase

Host this site and store your orders and uploads, in the United States.

Each of them receives only what it needs to do that job.

Cookies

Every cookie we set is needed for the site to work:

• A cart cookie, so your cart is still there when you come back.
• A checkout cookie, so reloading part-way through does not lose where you were.
• A sign-in cookie, if you have an account.
• A short-lived cookie that attaches an order to your account when you follow a link we emailed you.

How long we keep things

• Orders, and the artwork on them, are kept as our record of what we sold and to whom.
• Artwork that never became an order is deleted: 30 days after we accept it, 90 days after we refuse it.
• A cart you leave behind expires on its own after 30 days.

Asking about your own information

Email hello@thethreadedsignature.com to ask what we hold about you, to correct it, or to close your account. We answer within one business day.

We cannot delete the record of an order you placed. We have to keep what we sold, to whom, and what was paid.
